AHA to House Committee on Education and Labor Re: H.R. 1309, the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act

This bill would direct the Secretary of Labor to issue—on an expedited timetable—an Occupational Safety and Health Administration  standard requiring employers in the health care and social service fields to develop and implement a comprehensive workplace violence prevention plan.
