Making Healthcare More Affordable

At an AHA executive forum today in Atlanta, hospital and health system leaders shared insights and explored opportunities and challenges for driving innovation and value through collaboration with providers, payers, employers and community partners.
AHA board member Greg Poulsen brings with him decades of experience as a proponent of value at the Salt Lake City-based health system.
The House Committee on Energy and Commerce yesterday passed a number of AHA-supported bills that would lower prescription drug costs and strengthen the Affordable Care Act marketplaces to improve access and lower the cost of coverage for consumers.
