AHA, AMA and ANA Release New TV and Digital Ad Campaign Thanking Health Care Workers

WASHINGTON (November 22, 2021) – Together, the American Hospital Association (AHA), American Medical Association (AMA) and American Nurses Association (ANA) released a new television and digital ad campaign to thank health care workers during the holiday season. The ad, which can be viewed here, will run online and on television starting today, which is also Public Health Thank You Day. A Spanish language version of the ad can be found here.

This effort continues the work the three associations have done over the course of the pandemic to increase public acceptance of the essential actions to curb the spread of COVID-19 and protect lives, including the importance of getting vaccinated.

In addition, the AHA today launched a national, multi-faceted “thank you” campaign to express the organization’s profound appreciation for the nation’s hospital and health care workers and to reiterate how highly they are valued. As part of this initiative, the AHA today released a new video thanking the many health care professionals working in America’s hospitals and health systems for their dedication and compassion in caring for their communities. The “Season of Thanks” campaign is an extension of the AHA’s efforts to reinforce the crucial role hospitals and health care workers play in serving their communities. The campaign will include additional public service announcements, as well as other digital content and assets that can be adapted and used by hospitals and health systems. The AHA will also continue its Forever Grateful dynamic digital campaign featuring local patient testimonials from across the country.
