The American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration is offering scholarships for qualified members to take the Certified in Healthcare Human Resources examination. Scholarship recipients will receive a voucher to cover the cost of the examination fee. Administered by the AHA Certification Center, the CHHR certification examination is based on the five competencies of the ASHHRA HR Leader Model. “Certification shows that the holder has demonstrated a mastery of health care HR knowledge and, through maintenance of certification, is committed to staying informed of new developments in this ever-evolving field,” said ASHHRA Board President Kristen Fox. For more on the exam and scholarship, visit www.ashhra.org/certification or call 312-422-3720. ASHHRA is an AHA personal membership group for health care human resource professionals.
