AHA Feb. 15 reiterated its support for the Future Advancement of Academic Nursing Act, recently reintroduced by Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Rep. Lauren Underwood, D-Ill. The AHA’s American Organization for Nursing Leadership also supports the bill, which would provide resources to expand and retain nursing students and faculty and modernize educational programs and infrastructure.
