Case Study: Becoming an Age-Friendly Health System

Kent Hospital, a member of Care New England, Rhode Island

Kent Hospital opened an Adult Care for Elders (ACE) unit to test and implement the Age-Friendly Health Systems 4Ms Framework. Since opening, the unit has seen a reduction in length of stay and falls with injury, along with an increase in patient and staff satisfaction.
