At Issue On Nov. 4, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued its calendar year (CY) 2021 final rule for the home health (HH) prospective payment system (PPS). The final rule takes effect Jan. 1, 2021.

On June 30, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued its calendar year 2021 proposed rule for the home health prospective payment system. Comments on the proposed rule are due to CMS by Aug. 24.
