Delaware association names interim CEO

The Delaware Healthcare Association, a membership organization for hospitals and health systems in the state, today named Megan McNamara Williams to serve as interim CEO until its Board of Directors identifies a permanent replacement for Wayne Smith, who stepped down as president and CEO in December after 15 years at the organization. Williams has led DHA’s clinical and policy work as vice president for the past five years. She holds a doctorate in nursing and previously worked in population health, as a hospitalist and primary care provider.
