Who is it for?

Teen drivers in this rural area.

Why do they do it?

A community assessment found that teen drivers have the highest risk for motor vehicle crashes, injury and death per miles traveled. This is compounded by the area’s year-round hazardous mountain driving conditions.

Impact

Seat belt use increased from 80 percent to 92 percent, representing 300 additional people wearing seat belts.
