The American Organization of Nurse Executives has chosen as its next president-elect Joan Clark, senior vice president and system chief nurse executive at Texas Health Resources in Arlington. As 2016 president-elect, Clark will serve as AONE president in 2017. She currently serves as AHA’s appointed commissioner on The Joint Commission. In addition, Lamont Yoder, CEO at Banner Gateway Medical Center and Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ, was elected to serve as AONE treasurer.
