The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has asked the Measure Applications Partnership to conduct an accelerated review of an ad hoc list of measures the agency is considering for Medicare quality reporting programs under the Improving Medicare Post‐Acute Care Transformation Act of 2014. The IMPACT Act requires the Department of Health and Human Services to implement quality measures that are standardized across four settings: long‐term care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies. The MAP Post-Acute Care/Long-Term Care Workgroup will review the list of measures at a Feb. 9 Web meeting before issuing a recommendation for public comment Feb. 11-19. The MAP Coordinating Committee will then review the comments and finalize the workgroup recommendations on Feb. 27. Questions about the initiative may be referred to the MAP project team at measureapplications@qualityforum.org.
