How the APCP Program Works

The AHA Preferred Cybersecurity Provider (APCP) Program is available to highly-reputable, qualified and vetted cybersecurity service providers that share our vision and commitment to the nation’s hospitals and health systems.

After initial AHA vetting, organizations will be invited to respond to an RFI on their relevant cybersecurity services.

The AHA’s internal team of experts, led by John Riggi, AHA’s National Advisor for Cybersecurity and Risk, reviews and selects providers and services that meet our criteria, which includes the development of an exclusive offering specifically for AHA members. We are seeking companies that can provide exceptional value in terms of quality and pricing for AHA member hospitals and systems.

To add value for the firms and provide an additional layer of creditability, each firm may only be selected for two services or two bundled service packages. It is recommended that each bundled service package contain no more than two or three services.
