Strategies to Ensure Access to Health Care Services in Vulnerable Communities

Please join AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack on Monday, Feb. 6, from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. ET for a special webcast brought to you live from the Rural Health Care Leadership Conference in Phoenix as members of AHA’s Task Force on Ensuring Access in Vulnerable Communities examine nine innovative strategies to preserve access to essential health services in vulnerable rural and urban communities. Because there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution, the task force’s report outlines options for how hospitals can best adjust to meet community needs. Go to windrosemedia.com/windstream/ahawebcast2/ at 11:45 a.m. ET on Feb. 6 to watch live – registration is not required.

The webcast will describe the work of the task force, the report’s findings and next steps for the AHA as it addresses these challenges. Audience attendees and webcast participants also will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and engage in a discussion about the report and recommendations.

Speakers will include:

Ray Montgomery, president and CEO, Unity Health White County Medical Center, Searcy, AR, and chair of the Rural Subcommittee of the AHA Task Force on Ensuring Access in Vulnerable Communities;

Randy Oostra, president and CEO, ProMedica Health System, Toledo, OH, and member of the AHA Board of Trustees; and

Christina Campos, administrator, Guadalupe County Hospital, Santa Rosa, NM.
