Engaging Patients and Community Stakeholders in CHNAs

Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs) have the potential to be powerful drivers to enhance the health of communities. In this webinar, a new comprehensive model for effectively involving patients and community members throughout the entire CHNA process was presented. Making community and patient engagement a central component of the CHNA process can be mutually beneficial to hospitals and communities alike. Incorporating patient-centered outcomes research also has the potential to support the creation of CHNAs and improvement strategies to address identified needs.
