AHA Launches Innovative Program to Drive Quality Improvement in Healthcare

CHICAGO (April 12, 2023) – The Quality Collective, an exclusive peer-to-peer learning hub for health care quality leaders, is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural community. The program invites quality professionals to join and collaborate on new solutions for quality improvement.

Hosted by the AHA's Living Learning Network, the Quality Collective empowers health care quality leaders to identify and prioritize challenges, co-design innovative strategies and shape the future of quality in health care.

"We are thrilled to launch The Quality Collective and offer an unprecedented experience to health care quality leaders," said AHA VP of Clinical Quality Marie Cleary-Fishman. "Our community provides an innovative space for members to learn from one another, share experiences, and co-create solutions to the most pressing quality issues. By working together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of patients and improve the quality of care in our field."

The program – which begins in April with a full first cohort – offers a dynamic platform for health care quality leaders to share knowledge, experiences and connect with other professionals in the field. Members can access exclusive tools and resources, participate in discussions and collaborations, and crowd-source new ideas and strategies.

"As health care providers continue to navigate ongoing challenges, the importance of quality improvement and patient safety has never been more apparent," said AHA Director of Clinical Quality Kristin Preihs. "The AHA Quality Collective represents a novel opportunity for health care professionals to come together, share their real-world experiences, and co-design strategies to improve the quality of care provided to patients. We are dedicated to providing our members with comprehensive and impactful resources that drive meaningful and measurable improvements in the quality and safety of patient care."
