Care Well

The AHA Physician Alliance connects clinicians with resources and experiences framed by three fundamental values: Lead Well, Be Well and Care Well. These values foster shared decision-making and forge a common language among all health care leaders.

Care Well prioritizes better health for patients and communities. The Alliance connects quality improvement and population health work across the AHA, giving Alliance members access to a high-value care learning collaborative, participation in the AHA Value Initiative events and opportunities for the physician voice to help shape AHA policy development through the Committee on Clinical Leadership.

Better Health for Mothers and Babies

Maternal health is a high priority for AHA and its member hospitals and health systems. As part of that commitment, AHA has long partnered with national organizations as an active member in the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM). Together we are working to safeguard mothers and babies by reducing maternal morbidity.
