Review the planning and mitigating strategies for any workplace violence event.

Discuss how to create sound workplace violence policies as well as design appropriate training for employees and the security force. Review an array of solutions that two organizations have implemented to successfully manage many workplace violence issues of varying degrees of severity. Also included will be discussions in how the original policies and plans have been enhanced with highly protective protocols. These solutions, which incorporate administrative, educational, technical, and operational procedures emanate from the healthcare sector, but can be easily transferred to any business environment.
