The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has temporarily disabled access to electronic clinical quality measure Submission Summary and Performance Summary reports at the QualityNet secure portal to alleviate very slow processing times for Electronic Health Record Hospital Reports related to eCQMs. Effective March 3, pending requests for these reports will no longer display in the report queue, the agency said. Hospitals, critical access hospitals and their vendors should use the eCQM Submission Status Report (R530) to confirm program status for eCQM submissions, and regenerate the report after changes to obtain the most current status. The report should indicate “Y” for the Successful MU Submission field and Successful IQR-EHR Submission field to signal successful electronic reporting. CMS anticipates that access to the eCQM Submission Summary and Performance Summary reports will resume after the close of the eCQM submission period on March 13 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. For further assistance, contact the Hospital Inpatient Value, Incentives, and Quality Reporting Outreach and Education Support Team at https://cms-ip.custhelp.com or (844) 472-4477.
