The House Energy and Commerce Committee June 12 passed AHA-supported legislation during a markup of bills that passed the Health Subcommittee in May. The Supporting Patient Education and Knowledge Act  (H.R. 6033) would require dissemination of best practices to support individuals with limited English proficiency in accessing telehealth services. The measure was one of 13 bills addressed during the meeting.
