AHA receives CDC funding to continue vaccine confidence efforts

AHA recently received a $1.5 million grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to support COVID-19 vaccine confidence efforts through September 2023, including working with the Children’s Hospital Association on pediatric vaccination. AHA previously received $3 million in CDC funding to lead a vaccine education program offering public service announcements, educational videos and podcasts, case studies and rural vaccination strategies to support hospitals, clinicians and the public since February 2021.
