The departments of Health and Human Services and Justice today released guidance on federal telehealth protections for people with disabilities and limited English proficiency. 

“The guidance provides examples of actions that may be discriminatory and describes steps that providers may need to take to ensure that health care offered via telehealth is accessible,” as well as resources for providers and patients about telehealth and civil rights protections, the agencies said.
