AMA releases CPT code for third Moderna COVID-19 vaccine dose
The American Medical Association yesterday published a Current Procedural Terminology code for providers administering a potential third dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. It previously published a CPT code for administering a third dose of Pfizer vaccine. The Food and Drug Administration Friday authorized, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended, a third dose of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines for certain people with compromised immune systems.
