CDC: Nearly 80% of school staff, child care workers have first shot
Nearly 80% of prekindergarten through 12th grade teachers, school staff and child care workers had received at least their first COVID-19 shot by April, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced yesterday.
President Biden last month directed all states to make teachers and school staff eligible for COVID-19 vaccination and prioritized vaccination for them through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.
