Application portal opens today for next distribution of COVID-19 provider relief funds

The Department of Health and Human Services today opened the application process for $20 billion in funds from the Public Health and Social Services Emergency Fund. Under this third general distribution, which HHS announced last week, hospitals and other providers can apply for additional payments that consider COVID-19-related financial losses and changes in operating expenses. The application period is open today through Nov. 6. See HHS’ webpage for more details on how to apply.
