Neil Jesuele, AHA executive vice president of leadership and business development, will retire in mid-2016 after more than 20 years with the association. “Neil was instrumental in furthering innovative strategic and business developments to help hospitals navigate the changing health care landscape,” said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack. “He also made many important contributions to the AHA in the areas of performance improvement and health improvement.” Specifically, Jesuele led or oversaw the formation and development of the AHA’s Health Forum, Center for Healthcare Governance, Physician Leadership Forum, Hospitals In Pursuit of Excellence, AHA/Health Research & Educational Trust Hospital Engagement Network, and National Alliance for Health Information Technology, among others. Before joining AHA in 1995, Jesuele worked for Colgate-Palmolive and then Johnson & Johnson for 12 years, where he was vice president for strategic and market development at J&J Hospital Services and served on a variety of corporate and business development councils and task forces.
