President declares disaster in Calif. wildfires; CMS to post waiver information

President Trump has declared a major disaster in counties affected by the California wildfires, making federal funding available to help individuals and organizations recover, the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced today. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services also expects to post public health emergency and waiver materials soon at www.cms.gov. The Camp Fire in Butte County seriously damaged part of Adventist Health Feather River hospital in Paradise, Calif., which is accepting donations to support colleagues impacted by the fire.
