Speaking Opportunities

We are now accepting speaking proposals for a limited number of breakout and sunrise sessions that offer unique insights, successful case studies, and cutting edge solutions. Proposals should be non-commercial in nature. The deadline for submitting proposals is December 1.

Sessions are 75 minutes in length, with one hour of presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A. Speaking proposals should address one of the following content areas:

Responding to the Power of Consumerism in Health Care – Issues in the development of a retail-oriented health market, consumer demand for convenience and greater transparency of price and quality information, the growth of personalized technologies, and strategies for engaging patients as partners.

Integrating Workforce and Strategy for Organizational Transformation – Insights into leadership and team-based strategies for redesigning systems and organizational culture to transform the workplace for greater employee satisfaction, new efficiencies and improved patient outcomes.

Driving Delivery System Change through Innovation –
Strategies and practices for fostering a culture of innovation as the field moves forward in an era of transformation. Examples of innovation applied to create novel systems of care, particularly for challenges such as the opioid crisis, behavioral health integration, post-acute care management, and serving high-need, high-cost patients, as well as investment in promising ideas, technologies and scientific discoveries.

Enhancing the Value and Affordability of Health Care – Explores emerging health care delivery models that expand access, improve health outcomes, and lower the total cost of care. Emphasis on how strategic collaborations and key stakeholder relationships can be integrated to strengthen the models, create greater accountability for performance, and improve affordability.

Quality and Safety Improvements for Optimal Performance – Promising practices and approaches for providers competing to deliver the highest quality, safest, and most patient- and family-centered care including strategies to create a culture of participation, measurement and, continuous improvement.

Leveraging Technology and Data Analytics in an Integrated System of Care – The role of HIT and the utilization of data for decision support within a clinically-integrated delivery model, deployment of IT and telehealth across the care continuum to coordinate and extend inpatient and outpatient care, and the use of data in population health management.

Advancing Well Being – Approaches to address the imperative to advance population health improvement by integrating strategic initiatives that serve to better identify, analyze and manage chronically ill and vulnerable populations. Examples of how to direct resources to improve community health, equity of care, promote health and wellness, and reduce the cost of care.

Strategies for Achieving Governance Excellence – Exploration of how trends are transforming the board’s role and oversight responsibilities, as well as insights into the innovative governance practices and critical leadership competencies that will move the board from good governance to excellent governance.

Speaking proposals should be submitted via the link below. You will be asked to provide the following:

  • A title for the session
  • Content area (see above)
  • A summary of the session including a description of its focus and participant learning objectives
  • How is it targeted to a senior executive audience?
  • Full contact information on the proposed speaker(s) – name, title, organization, street, city, state, zip, phone, e-mail, assistant’s name and e-mail. All speakers must be confirmed as available to present during the Summit dates prior to submission of the proposal.
  • A brief bio for the speaker(s)
  • A speaking reference for the presenter(s) with contact info
  • A brief description of the presenter's organization(s)

Waived Conference Fee: Accepted speakers will receive a complimentary registration to the Leadership Summit, including pre-Summit workshops. Please note that we typically do not pay honoraria and speakers are expected to cover their own travel and lodging expenses.
