NASEM Workshop on Medical Preparedness for Nuclear Incident
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host an Aug. 22-23 workshop in Washington, D.C., on medical and public health preparedness for a nuclear incident. Public and private-sector participants will explore the status of medical and public health readiness, potential changes in planning assumptions, and challenges and opportunities for capacity building.
