Nicholas Tejeda, CEO of The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus in El Paso, TX, is 2018 chair of the Institute for Diversity and Health Equity, an AHA affiliate, the Institute announced today. Newly elected to three-year terms on the Institute’s board of directors are: Bruce Bailey, president and CEO of Tidelands Health in Georgetown, SC; Andres Gonzalez, vice president and chief diversity officer for Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee; Terika Richardson, president of Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago; Richelle Webb Dixon, president of the National Association of Health Services Executives in Houston; and Joe Wilkins, senior vice president and chief transformation officer for Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ. The Institute leads the hospital and health system field in increasing the diversity of America’s health care leadership, maintaining an inclusive working environment and enabling equitable care for all individuals.
