The American Organization of Nurse Executives will present a hospital, several members and a state affiliate with 2019 awards during its annual meeting next week in San Diego. The honorees are: Akron (Ohio) Children’s Hospital – AONE Prism Diversity Award; Giancarlo Lyle-Edrosolo, chief nursing officer at Providence Saint John’s Health Center, Santa Monica, Calif. – Pamela Austin Thompson Early Careerist Award; Joy Parchment, director of nursing strategy implementation, Orlando (Fla.) Health – AONE Mentor Award; and the New York Organization of Nurse Executives and Leaders – AONE Affiliate Achievement Award. AONE, an AHA subsidiary, is the national professional organization for nurses who design, facilitate and manage care.
