CMS: 2018 HealthCare.gov enrollment approaches 4.7 million
Nearly 4.7 million people selected a 2018 health plan through HealthCare.gov between Nov. 1 and Dec. 9, including more than 1 million last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services reported yesterday. About 70% of those selecting plans were renewing coverage and the rest were new consumers. Thirty-nine states are using HealthCare.gov for 2018 open enrollment, which runs through Dec. 15.
