A new AHA guide offers strategies and case examples to help hospitals and health systems address transportation issues in their communities. The guide is the latest in a series of resources by AHA and its Health Research & Educational Trust and Association for Community Health Improvement affiliates on how hospitals can address the social determinants of health. For more on improving transportation for patients, register for AHA’s Nov. 17 webinar on “Transportation and the Role of Hospitals.”
