Tool enables data-based staffing decisions in health care environmental services

The Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) has developed an online calculator and workbook to help health care environmental services departments plan staffing levels and scheduling to meet their needs. Available for purchase, the package includes an interactive calculator that generates customized staffing recommendations based on over 50 metrics, three educational videos, and an electronic publication on staffing methodologies. AHE is an AHA professional membership group.
