Baptist Health names new CEO of Texas Health Resources

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Health has appointed Brett McClung president and CEO effective in early July. Since 2013 he has served as the executive vice president and chief operations leader for the North Zone of Texas Health Resources. 

SageWest Health Care appoints new CEO

Riverton, Wyo.-based SageWest Health Care has named John Ferrelli CEO effective April 22. Ferrelli most recently served as vice president of operations at Vibra Healthcare LLC, Mechanicsburg, Pa., where he was responsible for managing hospitals in South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio and Indiana. 

Southwestern Medical Center names CEO

Lawton, Okla.-based Southwestern Medical Center has appointed Elizabeth Jones, R.N., CEO effective May 6. She previously served as chief operating officer at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, Ky.

Piedmont Athens Regional names CEO

Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare has named Michael Burnett CEO of Piedmont Athens (Ga.) Regional Medical Center effective May 1. He currently serves as CEO of Piedmont Fayette (Ga.) Hospital. 

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center — Centennial names president 

Frisco, Texas-based Baylor Scott & White Medical Center — Centennial has named Ryan Gebhart president. He previously served as vice president of operations for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center — Plano (Texas).
