Wellington Regional Medical Center names CEO

Wellington (Fla.) Regional Medical Center has promoted Pam Tahan to CEO. She previously served as chief operating officer. 

AMITA Health names president and CEO

Lisle, Ill.-based AMITA Health has appointed Dia Nichols president and CEO of AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center Elk Grove Village (Ill.) effective March 19. He most recently served as CEO and market lead for HCA — Northside Hospital, St. Petersburg, Fla. Nichols succeeds John Werrbach, a longtime CEO of the medical center, who retired earlier this year. 

Allina Health appoints president of two hospitals

Allina Health, Minneapolis, has named Kelly Spratt president of Buffalo (Minn.) Hospital and Cambridge (Minn.) Medical Center effective March 11. He comes to Allina from Hennepin Healthcare, Minneapolis, where he has overseen ambulatory care and emergency medical services as chief ambulatory officer.

CHI Memorial appoints COO

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CHI Memorial has selected Anthony Houston as its new chief operating officer. He most recently served as president of CHI St. Vincent, Hot Springs, Ark. Houston succeeds Janelle Reilly, who was recently promoted to market CEO of CHI Memorial. 

Saint Michael’s Medical Center names CFO

Newark, N.J.-based Saint Michael’s Medical Center has appointed Carolyn Allen chief financial officer. She most recently served as regional CFO and vice president of finance for the western region at Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine.

Novant Health names VP of research and innovation

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health has appointed Mark King vice president of research and innovation effective March 11. In this new role, he will partner with physician leaders to expand clinical research opportunities and improve patient access to clinical trials. King currently serves as the assistant vice president of research administration for Atrium Health, Charlotte, N.C.
