Susan Monarez selected as new CDC director nominee

Susan Monarez, acting director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has been nominated to lead the agency, President Donald Trump announced March 24. Monarez was previously the deputy director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health.
