A new issue brief from AHA’s Hospitals Against Violence initiative offers evidence-based tools and strategies to help hospitals and health systems assess violence risks and make the care environment safer. The first in a series that will expand on HAV’s 2021 framework for building a safe workplace and community, this issue brief builds on a series of discussions between hospital and risk management leaders.
