HHS awards additional marketplace navigator grants

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services yesterday awarded the 59 organizations helping people navigate the federally facilitated health insurance marketplace $10.2 million in additional grants to support 2022 open enrollment. Thirty-three states are using the federal platform for 2022 open enrollment, which runs through Jan. 15. Consumers generally need to choose a plan by Dec. 15 for coverage to start Jan. 1.
