MAP workgroups to discuss CMS performance measures under consideration
The Measure Applications Partnership workgroups will meet virtually this week to discuss performance measures under consideration by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including measures related to hospitals’ commitment to addressing health equity as well as severe obstetric complications. The hospital workgroup, chaired by the AHA, meets Dec. 15 and the post-acute care workgroup meets Dec. 16; both meetings are open to the public. The MAP is a public-private partnership convened by The National Quality Forum and CMS to provide input to the HHS Secretary on the selection of performance measures for public reporting and performance-based payment programs.
