The AHA today released a new episode of the on-demand video series, PowerPlay. This episode features a conversation between AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack and James Madara, M.D., CEO and executive vice president for the American Medical Association. Among other topics, Pollack and Madara discuss the work the AHA, AMA and American Nurses Association have done together during the past year to combat COVID-19; health equity and health care disparities; and what the health care system may look like post-pandemic.
