The Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care, of which the AHA is a founding member, has launched a new TV ad urging Congress to provide critical resources to help hospitals and health systems as they continue the battle against COVID-19.

Hospitals and health systems have cared for millions of Americans with COVID-19 in the past year, and the cost to do so has been enormous. Hospitals have spent significant resources on supplies to keep patients and health care workers safe, and on intensive care unit care and staff relief.

“More relief is needed to fight COVID-19 and help vaccinate America,” says the ad, which was launched with a heavy presence in Washington, D.C.
