The Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response will hold a webinar Sept. 24 at 2:30 p.m. ET highlighting personal protective equipment preservation strategies, trends, challenges and lessons learned during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

The COVID-19: Optimizing Healthcare Protective Equipment and Supplies webinar, which is part of ASPR’s Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange, will include presenters from the public and private sectors discussing approaches to optimizing health care supplies of respirators and PPE, such as implementing crisis capacity strategies, respirator and mask testing programs, disinfection and decontamination procedures, and acquisition and distribution policies.
