The Food and Drug Administration will host a webinar Aug. 18 at 12 p.m. ET on its umbrella emergency use authorization for certain disposable, single use surgical masks. The FDA issued the EUA on Aug. 5 in response to concerns relating to insufficient supply during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. ET, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host a webinar on flu vaccination planning and guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar also will review updates to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations for the 2020-2021 flu season.
