The Internal Revenue Service yesterday extended the deadline for tax-exempt organizations and fiscal year businesses to file tax returns and payments due between April and June until July 15. AHA, joined by the Association of American Medical Colleges and Catholic Health Association of the United States, recently asked the IRS to give any Section 501(c)(3) organization required to file Form 990 Schedule H a six-month automatic extension to file Forms 990, 990-T and 4720, and will continue to urge further relief.
