The Kansas Hospital Association has selected as its next president and CEO Chad Austin, who currently serves as executive vice president and will assume the new role in September. “Chad Austin has a tremendous knowledge and understanding of Kansas hospitals no matter their size or geographical location,” said KHA President and CEO Tom Bell, who plans to retire Sept. 1. “He already has a stellar record of serving those hospitals in many capacities, and he will continue that exceptional service as president and CEO.” Since joining KHA in 1999, Austin has served as senior vice president of government relations and managed the association’s data-related activities, rural health and critical access hospital issues.
