Crain’s Chicago Business this week named Priya Bathija, vice president of AHA’s The Value Initiative, to its list of Notable Women in Health Care. Bathija leads AHA’s efforts to guide hospitals and health systems as they promote affordability by improving quality and decreasing cost. She also spearheads the association’s efforts on maternal and child health, including the Better Health for Mothers & Babies initiative, and contributes to AHA’s policy work on delivery and payment system reforms for vulnerable urban and rural communities.
