AHA and AMGA members may apply through Friday to participate in an intensive learning collaborative on managing population health and succeeding in the new Medicare physician payment models. The Clinical Integration: Pathway to Value collaborative is designed to help hospitals and medical groups work together to address the health care needs of their communities in innovative ways within the current payment and incentive system and plan for the future. “As we strive to deliver smarter, better, safer care, it’s imperative health care organizations are experienced in developing plans for more integrated systems of care,” said Jay Bhatt, D.O., AHA’s senior vice president and chief medical officer. “Participants will learn the skills and information needed to develop a more affordable and equitable system that advances health in America.”
