CMS delays new requirements for HH agencies by six months
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services today delayed the effective date from July 13, 2017 to Jan. 13, 2018 for its final rule implementing significant changes to the requirements for home health agencies that participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs, as requested by the AHA. CMS also made conforming changes to delay effective dates for updated standards related to performance improvement projects and personnel requirements.
