The Department of Veterans Affairs yesterday released an online tool providing average wait times for primary and specialty care appointments at specific VA clinics. The tool also provides data on VA patient satisfaction with wait times, and same-day service options for primary care and mental health. In addition, users can see how some VA medical centers compare with non-VA hospitals on certain Hospital Compare measures, a feature the agency plans to expand in the future. For more information, see the online demonstration.
