The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has opened its online application portal for participation in the 2018 Next Generation Accountable Care Organization Model. Organizations that wish to participate must submit a non-binding Letter of Intent by May 4. Applications are then to be submitted in two stages, with a narrative portion due on May 18, followed by their proposed Next Generation Participant Provider lists and list of Next Generation ACO Service Areas by June 9.
